"Abandoned" mussel valves on the ground (seemed to have better contrast for some reason) to demonstrate the subtle differences in species and how mussel diversity can be found quickly and easily in the Tippecanoe.

Note: It is illegal in Indiana to remove mussels from the stream. All specimens in the photo were gathered for the purpose of education, and returned to the stream.
